[Kurt's pretty sure he's got this event all figured out. He's about six or so, but he wasn't always. His dad's not here (which is highly upsetting) and neither is his mom (which is even more upsetting than that, because he knows she's gone but he still wants her there). Some of his friends are here though, and that's good. He remembers all about ( Read more... )

[La la laaaa, Santana recognizes tiny Kurt from whenever ago that was! She is oddly happy that they are both children! Therefore, BURSTING INTO THE KITCHEN NOW.]

PARTY DON'T START TIL-- [That's as far as she gets before breaking into giggles.]

[OH HEY IT'S HIS BEST BESTIE EVER. He moves the kettle over to the next burner so that it'll stop whistling (and really, it's so heavy and hot that that's probably for the best, even if he'll just have to reheat it again later), and hops down off his stool so he can rush over to Santana.]

That's the best song! [Lots of songs are the best songs! Especially Kurt's favorites. He giggles a little too and then:] DON'T STOP, MAKE IT POP! DJ BLOW MY SPEAKERS UP!

[And he shimmies a little. BEST SONG.]

[Oh Kurt, your trademark dance move is less hilarious and more adorable at that size.]

I'm baking for my tea party! You wanna come? I throw the best tea parties. Just ask anybody.

["Anybody" being his dad and his power rangers, but whatever. His parties are still the best.]

Uh-huh. There's going to be cake, and real tea and it's gonna be the classiest ever.

Have you ever been to a tea party? You can come to mine!

It's a Western tea party, right? I've never been to those!

Western? You mean like Cowboys and Indians and Zorro? I dunno if it'll be like that, but you should come anyway.

I totally like nice things...

[Not sure about tea, but... is that nice, too? And--Kurt, he likes Kurt, right? He's not a stranger, so his parties are probably okay.]

Then you should come to the party!

[He kind of does a double-take at the screen though.]

...Wait, Poland? You're little too?

[He fixates on this for about three seconds. 1, 2, 3...] You should definitely come to my party! It's been forever and ever and you're really awesome! Please? It'll be fun!

[Poland nods, which a ferventness which almost seems hazardous with his current head:body proportions. Then he gives a cocky little smile which is almost certainly compensating for how talking to people makes him sort of want to flee and hide under a table forever.]

For sure! I'll like, come and help make your party way cooler~

[Kurt beams at him.]

That's great! It's going to be the best, coolest tea party ever! I missed hanging out with you.

[Think, think, think.] You should bring your husband too! He can be your plus one.

[Forget video. Puck's just going to show up at the kitchen, because someone has to supervise Kurt and whoever decides to come..]

[Sometime before Puck shows up Kurt put the water back on again and it's probably going to whistle again soon. Kurt looks over at him, but he doesn't look like he's about to stop what he's doing for him. He's much too busy frosting a delicious bite-sized chocolate cake with a butterknife.]

Hi Puck. Are you here for the tea party?

[He seems a little confused about that, like "Why would Puck come to a tea party?"]

Uh, yeah, Kurt, I'm totally all about parties.

[He tries to smile, so it doesn't seem so weird that he's there.]

You, uh, need a hand with anything?

[Little Kurt looks very, very skeptical, and it's apparently a look that won't change much in the next ten years or so.]

I dunno. Do you know anything about baking, or...tea-ing?

[He doesn't look like he would.]

Can you make tea on your own?

[Where did all these children come from?]

Reply

thisisherson November 13 2011, 06:37:24 UTC
Uh-huh. I used to make my own tea all the time! And I've been making my dad coffee since I was tall enough to reach the coffeepot.

[Sure, he probably isn't that tall now, and it was a coffeemaker, but that's close enough to making tea, right?]
