"You've got to be kidding me!"

Lee kicks at the sword and shoves at the thing before heading around it toward the sun.

"Cowards!" The Knight screeches as Lee and others dash past him to the outside world. "Come back and face meeeyowch!" Suddenly the Black Knight is hopping on one leg, the other lying on the floor. Solidus flicks blood off his swords.

"Out of my way!" Too eager for freedom to finish him off, Solidus moves on without another words or glance. The sun hits his face, the fresh air fills his nostrils, and he laughs.

Anakin stared at the missing limb.

He started to feel sick to his stomach.

"You!" The Knight raised his sword at Anakin. "Come on, let's go! The Black Knight shall never be defeated!" Balancing on his remaining leg as best he could, he swung at the Jedi'a head.

"Y-your leg has been severed!" Anakin cried, easily dodging.

"You are going to bleed to death!"

"One side, big guy." Skipper flops on his belly and slides across the floor past the Knight, then waddles on out the door.

He looks about at the strange desert around him. "Hmm. Well, it's not perfect, but at least it's not Antarctica."

The goddamn wheelchair wasn't getting her ass outta here fast enough for Susannah, so she tapped Eddie's leg. "Bend down, boy, time for a ride." She couldn't wait for there to be a sun in her life again. The comparatively short time Susannah had been trapped in Area 42 had been harder on her than she would have ever imagined (assuming she would ever have imagined this). People just weren't meant to stay underground. She had no idea how long the people who'd been here a year had handled it.

Helo lead others in the rush to the entrance, giving the Black Knight a solid shove on his way past.
