Death arrived promptly on time, but then he was rarely if ever late. Perhaps some day he might even learn how to use the door. "I SEE YOUR REDECORATING HAS GONE WELL."
Draco jumped to his feet, startled, as Death appeared next to him, instead of knocking at the door as Draco had expected. He quickly tried to regain his composure, but was not very successful.
"Uh, yeah ... I was always a fair hand at transfiguration, so I've been putting it to use ..." Draco gestured vaguly around him.
"Um!" Anyone who knew him from his world would be surprised by how flustered he appeared to be. "Do you ... want to sit, or take a tour, or ..." Draco looked up at Death, a hint of pleading in his eyes.
Death moved to one of the comfortable chairs in front of the coffee table and took a seat. "PERHAPS SOME TEA AND CONVERSATION FIRST, AND THEN THE TOUR?"
"Right! Good, then." Draco instantly began to look more comfortable as he moved into host mode. He perched on the chair across from Death's and gestured at the tea service. "Is there a particular kind of tea you prefer?" Draco questioningly cocked his head.
