Adam peered around a corner, watching as a quite violent masked man proceeded to brutally beat a screaming die hard fan into a pulp. The Joker was right (since when did he listen to madmen?), this actually was amusing. He had been in the security room earlier, watching people run about in the senseless chaos, and oh did he miss seeing that kind of panic. But still, the grainy little televisions could only barely make out the expressions or faces people made, and that was rather disappointing, really. Then after watching fifteen minutes of this man in a trenchcoat senselessly punching some random victim, Adam decided maybe he should see it in person. Maybe clap a bit at the end. But for now, he remained silent.

The Dethklok roadie twitched a final time and went still, as oxygen deprivation took it ultimate toll. Rorschach watched impassively, then placed the handkerchief back in his pocket. Hadn't he heard a noise around the corner, towards the end?

He spoke without turning around. "Know you're there. Be wisest to show yourself now."

Ah well, he only got in for the very end. If only the other one put up a better fight than a sack of potatoes, then it would have been more interesting.

Adam stepped out from his not-safe-at-all defense of a wall, hands up so this man could see he wasn't armed at the moment. "Don't mind me. I'm not doing anything, just watching. Although, that did seem somewhat unfair, the man didn't have any sort of weapon..." What honor was there in fighting an unarmed opponent? Well, no, not honor. More like fun.

"Fairness irrelevant," Rorschach said. "Scum do not deserve such consideration." He turned to the man. "Look familiar. Was a warning post about you some time ago... hrm..." He searched his memory. "...Monroe. Why?"
