but I'd like to say that I am ecstatic that against my parents' better judgment, I drove myself out to Spectrum after 4 months of literally never driving... and I still got it. And by it I mean driving back at break neck speeds to get home by curfew

Well...

I hate curfews too, but for me they're more like bed-times. I don't have a car, so I don't go out nearly as often as you. I'm usually up late playing some video game or other. With headphones on. And then my mom scares the shit out of me when she suddenly appears behind me at 3 or 4 AM.

But other than those details, I know exactly how you feel.
