Wow, okay, I never meant to stay away so long. I swear, I have no idea how it is already April; feels like January just happened. And I'm super embarrassed that I haven't made a real post since, er, last April, apparently. I have no idea what happened (well, actually, I do but yeah ( Read more... )

Oh, you are into Skyfall? I love it but haven't really ventured into the fandom much beyond writing a couple of short things. I'll follow you on tumblr where I'm annaluna and only there occasionally. So jealous you're going to those plays! I'm trying paperlegends too. Never done it before.

:D Yes! I feel like I should have seen this coming, I love Bond films, always have, and I really, really love Ben Whishaw. Have you read Slow Dancing in a Burning Room by feels-like-fire ( LJ | AO3)? It is kind of one of my favourite things ever! I haven't read yours, yet, and now I want to blow off studying for my French test tomorrow so I can, lol.

I AM SO EXCITED! I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE SEMESTER TO END SO I CAN BE THERE ALREADY. I'm constantly torn between nervous and flaily. I don't know if I will stage door or not, just thinking about it makes me REALLY nervous, but I can't wait to see them onstage! I wasn't sure if I'd be able to do this so I am thrilled that things worked out.

That's awesome! What are you writing? How is it going so far?

<3 And now I'm following you back!

Do you know about any other Bond/Q fests? I missed the big bang. I realize that's the fandom I might be most interested in writing for now. I've hardly read any fic though. I'll definitely check out that one. I have a couple of long ones downloaded that I haven't delved into yet.

Mine would take you about a minute to read. lol Just drabbles. I have a crossdressing one I really want to finish.

This conversation made me think about Q/Bond for my perverse_bang fic, for which I hadn't come up with an idea yet. Ponders...

For paperlegends, I'm writing a Casablanca fusion, altering the WW2 setting to a conflict about magic users, with Arthur in the Lazlo role as a freedom fighter for magicians and Uther as a "Nazi." Gwaine is Rick and Merlin is Ilsa. Still plodding through a truly terrible first draft.

Hm. I can't think of any. Personally, I'm hoping for a reel community to pop up soon. I love those <3

I've become terrible about bookmarking things, but here are a few Bond/Q fics I've succeeded in bookmarking. Which fics have you downloaded?

I read yours last night! I loved them, particularly the one where Q puts lipstick on Bond <3 <3

Oh dear god. There can never be enough crossdressing. Never. Bulletproof kink, right there.

And yes! PLEASE DO THAT. THAT WOULD BE AMAZING.

OMG. CASABLANCA. That is my very favourite movie ever, ever, and I love you so much for this. That sounds fantastic! I cannot wait to read this! Seriously, I think you have just made my life.

\0/ I love your fic so much. What are you writing?

Tbh, I'm not really sure I even know what you mean by that. I'm pretty laid back, honestly. The bouncing ideas, working through knots, reading, generally being enthused and encouraging works perfectly for me. <3

Although, I feel I should give you a heads-up because I know that it does squick loads of people, my fic has infidelity, although I wouldn't call it very straightforward infidelity? Mostly of the emotional sort? Like, the entire thing was inspired by a few lines from Ashes, Embers, Flames by unpossible, the bit about the antique table from a school? And the headmaster who was terribly in love with the German teacher who was unhappily married? Anyway.
