We all have our little crosses to bear, and mine's a whole frigging toilet! An Indian guy I work with will use the urinals, but he'll hand on to his dumps until he gets home, thank you very much. I wish I had his control.

LOL. That's just me trying to put us down, in case any of my American friends thought I was serious or putting the US down too much. And for a couple of my friends, this is not the first time they have read a rant of mine on this subject.

Heh. I agree with you. Though I recall that Britain had some toilets with too-low barriers as well. Probably a Bush/Blair thing.

The truth is, on a mildly serious note, there is no such thing as, "the greatest country in the world." Anyone who is well-traveled or well-informed knows this. Jingoism is bad, anywhere you go.
