I've felt similar feelings over the whole postmodernism thing and how everything has to be leaking with huge concepts. i've found that in the third year it's a little less like that though as generally they have to accept that you're making the work that you want to make. but yes, I agree a bit of beauty never hurt anyone. x
I had a really reassuring tutorial yesterday which put my mind at ease a little. it was the first time I feel any of the tutors have really understood what is was I want to be doing, and just being told that the most important thing was to be honest to who you are etc was so refreshing. how're you finding your final year?! hope it's all going well xx
