I've been guilty of thinking this way myself. But in the meantime I've seen too many miserable kids, working at jobs they hate or are at the best, very, very stressful. And earning money to do what? Either buy all the rich man's toys and compete with the neighbours for ever 'better', newer things, or save your money and do nothing enjoyable until you die, leaving it all to someone else.
No, thanks. I can get more joy out of a long walk on a beautiful day than I can out of fighting the traffic in my brand new car.
I totally get where this article is coming from. And hallelujah to that!
