Room 409 - Morning before classes

Sleeping in was not a habit Faramir had taken to now that there was no need to rise early. Even when his body had finally quieted down, he still found himself wide awake before he had anywhere to be. At least they would have their peace today, it seemed. He glanced towards the other bed for confirmation and found that Maladicta was still asleep,

"You're staring," Maladicta grumbled, not opening her eyes just yet.

"At the ceiling," Faramir replied, a note of amusement in his words. They were true, up until he spoke at least and glanced across the space between the beds.

"I apologise if my staring woke you up."

"I can just hear the little springs in your head going off," she countered, inhaling deeply. "But that godsforsaken small is finally gone."

"I shall have to let those springs get looked after. I wasn't aware they made so much noise," he teased, rolling to his stomach so he could watch her more easily. Her and the bag of coffee beans.

"I believe it might have finally passed. At least, I do not feel quite as on edge as I did yesterday."
