1) Happy Louis Riel day, everyone! It's a pretty new holiday, so I don't know what we're supposed to do on Louis Riel day, but there it is. So far in my life I have spent every single Louis Riel day running errands, watching bad tv, and knitting a scarf, so I guess there's my tradition right there

Sadly, I do not know these Luigi and Mario, but I have never met an SGA AU I didn't like (or at least, not one invented by you and/or eruthros thus far) so I am fully in support of this. Have you read that - I think it's XKCD? but maybe Perry Bible Fellowship? - cartoon about the inherent tragedy of Super Mario? Where it's about the princess and Mario's life together after the rescue and how they can never talk to each other about her experiences before she was kidnapped, and gradually it drives them apart? Oh man, I want to find that cartoon again. Maybe it was Penny Arcade, but it seems a bit dark for them. ANyway, it does sound like the best game of all time.

I haven't read that cartoon, but it sounds wonderful. I was just saying to eruthros that I wanted to write Princess Peach fic for Yuletide this year. :) Anyhow, if you find the cartoon, you should definitely send it my way.

It is seriously the best game of all time. Oh, I love it.
