I don't have internet at my place yet. It's been a bit of a mixed blessing. On one hand, I hate not  having the ability to check in on people, and read fiction, which is something I would like to stay more on top of this year. The biggest thing I guess I have to report is that I signed the lease on the guest house, and now it's mine! It was kind of a shock to me that I got it, as I really didn't think I would, given the number of applicants I was told the place got, but I did. I can move in this Saturday the 15th. I've been so frustrated with LiveJournal lately, that posting has just been a frustration for me. Ever single day, I receive multiple spam comments. I mark them as spam of course, but they still come. I think I would feel different if I felt like LiveJournal did something about it, but I don't get the feeling that they do. Last  year I participated in the CD swap during NaNo. It's exactly what it sounds like, but one of my cd's I received last year, I really enjoyed and still lives with me as we speak.
