I don't have internet at my place yet. It's been a bit of a mixed blessing. On one hand, I hate not having the ability to check in on people, and read fiction, which is something I would like to stay more on top of this year. But on the other hand it's been really nice to be able to read a few pages of my book each night, instead of doing one last check of the usual internet haunts. So, hopefully soon. In the meantime, I'm here.
Last week was the first week back at school. It was definitely not my favorite or my best week. I don't think any week where you end it bawling, can be described as a good one. But each day is a new start. There are a few things I'm looking forward to this month however. Of course the holiday next week, but also pajama day. Not gonna lie, I've already decided on what I shall wear. There are some fun happenings on that day, so I'm looking forward to a comfortable and fun day.
Yesterday was also the first day back for me at the studio. I was very pleased to be back, and now head into recital season. Woo! It always comes around so fast every year.
It's been so unusually cold here in AZ, I can't stand it. It's nice wearing sweatshirts and having the heat on, but the cold temperatures are awful. I would like to praise the wonderfulness of this awesome lipbalm/salve which is kind of a cure-all for a number of things. Anyway, it's been living in my pocket, and I can't say enough good things about it.
Am now fully living in my house, and it's been great so far. Still totally loving it. I'm so glad to have my own space again.
And finally, because I can't share it enough:
