I feel like I have PLENTY of time, to work the remaining projects, that I have to loom knit. When a project stops being enjoyable, it really is time to take another look at it. The yarn that you love so much can easily be frogged and reclaimed for another project that you WILL enjoy. It is NOT a failure to stop punishing yourself with something that you do not enjoy.

I just can't abandon it. I have to finish it. The Yarn Project's success depends on it. And, I have come too far, to let myself fail.

You would not fail if you used that yarn for another project. The Yarn Project will never be a success or a failure. It is an inanimate event. It is YOU who is a success.

I agree with the above. You're also studying now and have less time for your project, so why not adapt it to your circumstances and drop the baby blanket and move on to another looming project you like better. You can always crochet yourself a nice blanket/afghan from the same yarn.

There is an obligation. I have to do each project. Even if I am not liking them. I can't quit. I have to (if nothing else) prove to myself that I can stick with something, even if it isn't something I particularly enjoy.
