I woke up, this morning, feeling the rush, of this Project. On one hand, I feel like everything will be A-ok. I feel like I have PLENTY of time, to work the remaining projects, that I have to loom knit. I almost feel like completing the remaining projects, in the scheduled amount of time, will be a piece of cake.

Michael,

I get that you feel an obligation to complete each project that you have scheduled for the Yarn Project - even if you hate that project. That being said, set aside the Bliss Baby Blanket and move on to other loom projects for a while. Complete one or two of them so you feel like you are making progress, then come back and see if you still hate the blanket. If so, frog it!!! Life is way to short to persist on projects that you hate. I think that every one of your readers would understand that decision.

You have succeeded with the blanket and the looms in that you have learned the stitches, you have learned that loom knitting isn't your favorite method of working with yarn, so this part of the project is success. Sometimes success is measured in learning that you DON'T like something rather than that you love it!

Isn't the purpose of the loom knitting to learn how to do it, learn the various stitches and techniques? If so, you have worked enough of the blanket to accomplish both. We all know that you can complete things, you know how to stitch panels together and you certainly know your way around blankets and afghans!

Hugs, think on it and happy stitching,

Kae

There is an obligation. I have to do each project. Even if I am not liking them. I can't quit. I have to (if nothing else) prove to myself that I can stick with something, even if it isn't something I particularly enjoy.
