The Friday Before...

May 27, 2011 20:10

I woke up this morning, just mere MINUTES after 6am. Both wrists were home to, you guessed it...the DREADED tendonitis. Now, you would think that I would be used to this pain. That, since I have experienced it, SO FRIGGIN MUCH, that I would (somehow) be numb to it. Oh, how I wish that were the case. How I wish I could say that, though I was aware ( Read more... )

I'm wondering if Tai Chi would help you with your balance. Of course, it probably would not help with random stiffening, etc. but it does focus on shifting your weight between your legs/feet. You might be able to do some of it standing with a walker or canes. Just a thought.

I think the seven granny squares worked yesterday made up for those few times you didn't get to them. Also, yarn logic FTW!

This year has really zoomed by and you are to be congratulated on all that you have learned, accomplished and perservered. I've been enjoying your writing and your journey. You weren't really walking when we first 'met' and now you are putting in laps around the property and most of the time fall-free.

You whip out grannie blocks in nothing flat, you are looming away and loving it and ready to start school. You've faced some tough emotional battles as well and handled them.

Hugs and congratulations on a year of growth and adventure.

Wow, seven granny squares! That more than makes up for the days you didn't make one. Go, you! The exercise is probably good for your hands too; I heard they recommend needle knitting as therapy.

Can you put some polish on the sandals to fix the scrapes?

If your classes start next week, do they run through the summer break when most universities would be off?

Thank you. I was very thrilled, to have popped out that many squares, in one day. LOL!
Yes...my courses are 5 week courses, that go year round, if I choose.

You'll be totally fine with school. I'm sure of it. All of my classes are online this semester and it's so freeing to be able to do a little here, a little there, take a break whenever I need to. It hardly feels like work. Plus you have the routine of the Yarn Project (this blog and the actual yarn work) that you've been tremendously great at sticking to. I honestly think you'll do amazing.

I know I've been a total crap friend lately and haven't been keeping up as well as I should. But I went and looked at the pictures of all the things you've finished lately and WOW! You've done so much! And they're all done so well. You're doing a fantastic job, Michael!

Thanks. I am totally stoked, over the whole going to school thing. I think it is COMPLETELY awesome, and I am so ready for it. And, I know that The Yarn Project has helped to prepare me, for this.
You haven't been a 'crap' friend...don't be silly. Things come up. God knows that, while I would love to, I cannot always read my friends posts. I try, but some days, I just can't.
