The Day I Boarded The Emotional Roller Coaster

I would agree that you are an inspiration. Not only for knitting, but for the determination you have with the garden and with walking.

I can't wait to see a photo of the finished mitts!

Well, thank you, VERY much. That means quite a bit to me.
A picture of the mitts, will be posted tomorrow.

I hate those days where the universe decides to rain on your parade. Those are the days made for warm tea and a good book/knitting project.

Kudos for kicking caston butt!

Thank you for the sympathy. I hate funk days. They just suck!

Pictures, yay!

Well, I fall a lot. What saves me from injury beyond a few scrapes is the fact I've learned to just let it happen and go limp. GO LIMP. That's the best advice I can give anyone. Do NOT tense up. Just let the fall happen, let your body hit the ground. Going limp means your body will cushion its own fall without your input. Yes, you might get dirty, but you're not going to hurt as much, and you almost certainly will not injure yourself.

I learned this, funnily enough, by having my friend teach me how to stage-fall. She can just fall on the ground and make it sound like the worst thing EVER. I haven't managed the sound effects yet (it's all in the timing) but I know how to make it LOOK bad, lol. And you can jump right back up, provided you went totally limp, haha.

Lol. I agree. I have come to be known (in my family) as a 'professional faller'.
