WOW! You conquered two problems yesterday - the blue funk and the crochet cast on.

The reason I think you are an inspiration is because you keep working, walking, gardening when it would be easier to give up.

Walking, gardening, working on the loom. I never considered giving up. I HAVE TO DO THEM! I would feel empty, if I gave up, on one of them, you know?

Of course you're an inspiration with all that you do, the walking and gardening and experimenting with style of knitting! And look at how you solved that cast-on problem!

If the canes are rough on your hands, have you considered wrapping some soft suede strips round them? Leather's used a lot but I'd use suede for softness. I found a site that tells you how to do it.
