Hey everyone. I hope your NaNo's are going better than mine is! (I'm ridiculously far behind but I'm trying to push myself through it!)

What's your word count progress right now? Are you behind or ahead? What are your characters doing right at this moment? Have you done anything truly cruel to them yet? What scene(s) are you looking forward to ( Read more... )

At THIS very moment I'm at 6,640. >.> I have to get to like...15-18k to be on target for this weekend, soooo I have a lot of catching up to do (and distractions are not helping with that at all), but I know I'm probably not going to reach it tonight. What sucks is that I've had today off and let myself get distracted for a lot of the day, but I work 3-9:00 tomorrow so that's six hours of not being able to write ( ... )

Word Count: 24,365. There was a 13-hour write-in yesterday that I had to attend, so that was a lot of help in getting my word count back on track ( ... )

16k. I started this morning at almost 9k. So yea... Almost back to goal! behind.

So, i have this character.. he's... well, i guess the only way to describe him is special. Anyway, so he's hung over and this woman convinces him (which isn't hard to do as she's screaming at him until he agrees) to go rob a grave for her. And so he just finished that. and now he's all creepied out and everything.

Well... beyond killing his girlfriend/exgirlfriend, sending random ghosts after him, and well, making him get something off a corpse and making the corpse almost fly out of the grave at him... no not really.

I really don't know. So far, I've went into this with no plan. I really enjoyed having him dig up the grave though. Well, maybe not teh digging part, but the rest.

Dialogue? hmm... nothing really. Something else? well.. again, not sure. I'm only remember bits and pieces as i just let it flow. Umm... i guess hte whole part about her "convincing" him amused me.

I'm finished. With the 50k, at least. I've abandoned the story because I realized at around 10k that it was a non-starter, but I was too stubborn to just give up. So it's 50k words of crap. I'm going to spend the rest of the month working on a WIP, which I also hope to get 50k on so that I'll at least have done something productive this month.

O.O Woah. You reached 50k pretty fast (though I'm not too surprised by that, especially since you have the advantage of being able to write while at work). I hope you're able to get the 50k for the WIP done this month.
