Tumblr and Twitter are definitely horrible in their own ways, but I can't really knock them for introducing me to some nice writers. I sometimes just browse Reddit, but I never have really used it or participated in it...I think mostly out of fear that it will just consume me completely. I added you on Goodreads, by the way!

Any particular reason you don't use the star rating on Goodreads? I know with some books i'm reluctant to, and with others i've completely changed my mind in retrospect (usually not getting around to changing it either...) but to have no indication of what you thought of them?

Just curious.

I just really don't like the idea of rating books. Mostly because I just can't ever decide what to put. I'm fine with writing reviews, I just don't like giving numbers out to describe how I feel about them. I wrote a review for Paste a few months back, and I was forced to give out an 8.5 rating for a book - a number I pretty much just pulled out of thin air.
