This morning it was announced that my good buddy "Old Fashioned" was injured yesterday and won't make it to the Kentucky Derby. Its such a shame - simply because I knew this horse HAD IT. Its days like today I wish I was somewhere warm... with sand between my toes and a glass between my fingers. I really hope I find a new job soon. I cannot take unemployment. I've already had to scrap my Utah trip for April. We will be in the Outer Banks in August... but I'm really hoping to see the Southwest again. soon... or maybe even the ( Read more... )

So I've been engaged for about 2 weeks now. My brother got married friday night... Things are just strange. We will be looking for a Chihuahua in the spring. Work has been great. When I do get a dog, it will be able to come with me. That will be loads of fun especially for training.

This week Diabolical was sold to Sheikh Mohammed (Ruler of Dubai). The monopoly of unbelievable money continues. I went straight down to Fair Hill the next morning to see him. Mrs. Klasaris was running barn that morning and was nice enough to let me (I was surprised, she's never a happy camper). So I may have seen the pretty boy for the last time. ( Read more... )
