[This wasn't exactly Shockwave's kind of thing. Sure he'd done something similar around last Christmas, with the scientific minds of Nautilus, but that hardly meant that he favored random meetings of certain groups. Had it not been for Leslie he would have considered not coming at all. Especially when it had meant having to Bend himself to his human form.]

[Hn, introductions.]

I am Shockwave, and if we must state former professions, I had a multitude of what I was responsible for. However my primary function was listed as Military Operations Commander.

[GLaDOS was becoming more and more accustomed to her human form, particularly as she had spent the past week in it almost exclusively. Even with inhibitions again, she could still see the appeal of all the raw sensory data the human mind received. It was almost pleasant.

And robots couldn't eat pie.

She set the cake she had made on the table - a pumpkin and spice cake, partly because it would go with the apple, and partly in honor of their other hostess, Sally. There was no reason to be a rude guest, after all.]

Do we really have to do this? Oh, fine. I am GLaDOS, and I was and still am a scientist.

[Nemesis had arrived in robot form, and after a bit of an internal debate, had taken the only human form he knew: The one he'd been stuck with during his first Reality Storm. He'd yet to truly realise that it was female. Most organics looked the same to him.]

Nemesis Prime. [With the way that she sat, arms crossed, glowering at almost everyone, she was not that happy to be in human form. And here, amongst potential allies, she allowed it show. Around her, what little of the darkness was accessable twisted. It was 90% transparent. ] Politician, Prime, ruler of Cybertron. Amongst other things.

[Damn, this is lame. Not the exact words Riddler would use, of course there would be a classy spin on it, but that is exactly what it boiled down to. However, Leslie had kindly invited him, and it would have been rude to refuse. So he sits, angled slightly out from the group, with arms crossed and frowning.]

[It's his turn to speak now, isn't it? With a sigh that is probably a bit too dramatic, he speaks.]

Riddler.

[And that's it. Suck it. He'll show his expository skills later.]

[Okay. That settled, anyone who came in late could introduce themselves later. Feeling he was fast losing his audience, Leslie nodded briefly to the Riddler, and then leaned forward, pressing his hands to the table]

I'm guessing most of you are here right now because you're unhappy. I'm unhappy too. I'm unhappy the way this city's being run, I'm unhappy about how little a voice I have in it, I'm unhappy about this justice system, and how murder's illegal where people come back from the dead.

We're not Angelii, we're not Ashura. We're okay Benders by ourselves, but together, we could be awesome. Think of the one thing you would love to do, but can't. Power, or authority, or a slice of Nautilus to call your own no matter what. Numbers can win. Enough people, and you can do anything.

So what's your dream? What do you want to do that you haven't been able to do? Doesn't matter how impossible or stupid, I love impossible, stupid ideas. Come on. Hit me.
