Queer Buffy Blood... or something.

Lol, I'm amused. But you have to either know both Buffy and Queer as Folk or go read Thin Ice by valerie_z , which is crossover of these too, to understand that. (I know, I know, I myself am not particulary fond of crossovers, but this one draws some niffty parallels between Buffy and Justin. It's fun!)

Now, the amusing part? I realized two scumbags from ( Read more... )

This episode suffered from being preceded by what I currently consider the best episode in the third season - but, yeah, it left me feeling sort of 'hmm' too. I'm counting on things to shape up in the next ep, for sure. :) I'm crossing my fingers for Jésus' return. *crosses fingers*

Sookie and Tara need to sit down and have a long talk. A looong talk. Which might involve some slapping of faces and yelling at each other, as per usual. Because that shit Bill pulled was far from okay, both with Sookie and Tara. It's only because Tara is such a damn tough motherfucker that she managed to save her own skin.

Don't remind of that dream sequence/whatever the *hell* that was!!! >.

Ooh, I forgot to mention Tara's absolute badassery! I'm so glad for her, after the whole season of being one of Maryanne's puppets. She rules. ♥

I wonder, however, what's the deal with Sookie's coma sequence and Sophie Ann's interest in her.

Without getting too spoilery, it has to do with Sookie's family tree. And who the "person" was that she met in that dream sequence.

I gotta say I won't miss either the Magister or Bill's sire

Hm, interesting. Ah, I have this ongoing dilemma whether to read the books or wait till the show ends and then read them.

Ha, or Cooter, good point.

Or you can go to the Wikipedia and read up on what it says under "Southern Vampire Mysteries" and then "Characters". They tell all you need to know, assuming Alan Ball follows what's in the books.

Jason. ♥ Oh, how I hated him at the beginning. Silly me.

JESUS HAS TO GET BACK STAT.

I did miss Jessica, but I'm sure she'll be back and get plenty room next episode. Hopefully Bill will be off sunbathing or something and not be seen at all. :p

Please, PTB, let this happen. :D

I WILL miss the Magister. And maybe even Lorena a little bit. Also: Coot, for he was magnificently trashy. (Srsly, what's up with everyone dying in this episode?!)

Lol, for me it just meant getting rid of the characters I didn't want to have around anymore. :D When it comes to vampires, I'm just glad for the awesomeness that is Jessica, Pam & Sophie Ann.

You know, I always defended Sookie and still kind of like her, but SRSLY, how can she put up with Bill's shit after all of this is beyond me.

Hee yeah half the time he annoys me/makes me cringe/bores me, and then he does or says something absolutely brilliant and I have to kick myself for not appretiating him all the time. <3

Hey, you forgot Eric! And Franklin! Awesome is their middle name! I love how Eric has been playing the king, that fake smile of his is kind of hilarious. Also, he was so cute with Pam. <3 And Franklin of course is utter madness, I hope we get to keep him after this season (probably not :/).

Yeah I've defended her not being a perfect character and her acting irrationally and a bit crazy, but this is just going too damn far.

This season in particular has been blood-y. "I never really thought I was smart enough to get depressed, but.. here I am." OH, JASON.

Oh, and I adore Sally Draper.

Ah, this reminds me: I was watching SFU with my Mom the other day and she asked me whether everyone in the US swears so much all the time. Haha, IDK, do you? My guess is that HBO (and other cables) represents contrast to network TV and its lack of explicit sex/the f-word and the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

Ahh, well, I'm not from the US. :) Norway here. Where are you from, again? I live way up north and then you're sort of called a "nordlending", and that's often associated with a particular accent and swearing. Though, the swearing is purely an individual thing and doesn't have to be common. I'm probably just being really confusing now. The SFU swearing has a good... flow. There can be a lot of it, but also fitting.

Awesome, I didn't know you were from Norway (obviously). :) I'm from the Czech Republic.

Kinda confusing, but interesting. I love hearing about different languages.

No complains from me. I actually often swear in English: it makes me feel little less aggresive and it doesn't offend anyone. :)
