It wasn't long before Ezra appeared and made his way over to the principal, wearing a warm looking hoodie and smelling faintly of smoke. He'd been tugging Lester along, but released his hold on the brunet's sleeve when they stepped out into the brisk air.

"Evening," he said simply before coming to a stop and glancing over his shoulder at Lester, as if to make sure he was following. Honestly, he wasn't looking forward to dealing with the man's usual attitude, especially with everything he'd learned recently. He hadn't told anyone about what Oscar had sent Lawrence out to do, preferring to leave it to the blond's discretion, but just because he didn't want to worry the group needlessly yet didn't mean he wasn't going to keep his hackles up around the nosy old man. Ezra finally looked over at him, the shadow from his pulled up hood hiding his eyes a bit, before nodding at the box in his grasp.

"Should we bother asking what's in the box or is it a surprise?"

Lester tilted his head to the side when Ezra turned to look at him. He wondered if he was doing something wrong, but it didn't seem like that was the case. He continued to follow Ezra until they reached the principal...and stopped so that he was practically hiding behind his friend. He wasn't too keen on talking to Oscar, and he probably would have conveniently forgotten to how up as a whole without a reminder.

He noticed the box for the first time after Ezra pointed out. "Is it a good box or a bad box?" he found himself asking no one in particular.

And there were the first arrivals. They weren't his favorites, but saying so would have implied he had many favorites to begin with. He smiled welcomingly though, despite their own expressions. He waved, not returning any sort of greeting otherwise. They didn't look like they needed any sort of a greeting, but Oscar appreciated the ability to keep things on a apathetic business level. "It's a bomb," he joked in a tone that was actually difficult to tell if he was joking. However, he gave the box a light shake. Any sound it made was soft and muffled, nothing like however a bomb might sound. At least, that's what he assumed.

Though there were students present and he was halfway tempted in leaving the box with them to wait for the others so that he could return to his own room, Oscar looked back at the door. He could wait a few more minutes before resorting to that. For now, he kept his package in his hands.

"Are you really that curious?"

Finally found a way to post without the other thread needing to be done~ isolatedscholar September 3 2011, 21:26:14 UTC
Lawrence had been preparing for this moment all day long. He made sure to stay behind after Ezra left to survey the amount of people there. Lester, Ezra and... bingo. There was Oscar. The others would be arriving in a timely fashion, but he didn't need them. Two people was more than enough to witness what he was about to do ( ... )
