Without Lilly's reminder, Lester probably wouldn't have shown up. Mostly because he had completely forgotten about this altogether. So he appeared in the attic, looking like he had just dragged himself out of bed--mostly because that's exactly what he did. He hoped no one would mind if he had just quickly brushed his hair out, pulled it into a loose ponytail, and trudged up in his pajamas. At least he didn't forget to get his shoes on. Hooray for the convenience of flip-flops. What was he doing again? Oh right, getting himself to the attic.

He spotted her and shuffled over to her in silence, and stared out of the window next to her. He started hum along to the song playing on his piPod, which just happened to be this song.

Lillian looked up from the note she was writing, smiling up at Lester. She sat the notebook and pen down in her lap. Now that she had started writing the letter, it had occurred to her that simply sending an instructional manual might be a little too much for their friends in 1934 to easily understand.

"Good morning, Lester," she said, her smile widening as she recognized the tune. "How are you?"

Lester looked over at Lilly with the corners of his mouth turned up ever so slightly. "Good morning Lilly," he said, turning down the volume on his piPod a little so he could hear her a bit better. "Okay, I think. How about you?"

Being up so early in the morning was no problem for Lawrence. The fight he'd had with Ezra the night before weighed heavily on his mind, and he remembered that the meeting was today. Quietly, trying very hard not to wake up his roommate, he got dressed and slipped out of the room with his pocketbook, not noticing that he'd left his fountain pen behind on the desk. He made his way towards the attic and mentally prepared himself for what was about to happen. He would probably have a lot of enemies in this room... but he felt a bit reassured, too, because Lilly would be here as well, and the thought of seeing her again filled him with an unusual amount of joy. He smoothed out his cravat before taking one awkward step further and entered the room.

"Hello L---" and then, he noticed Lester. And the smile he had worn before faded immediately. He coughed, trying not to make himself noticeable and regained his usual look of indifference. "Good morning," he said, standing there awkwardly.

Lawrence couldn't help but roll his eyes and glare at Ezra from the back of the room as he spoke up. Then, he looked at Lilly and his glare softened. He wasn't sure how she'd react if she'd saw him glaring... so he decided that, for the moment, he'd put his hatred for Ezra aside so he wouldn't offend or scare her in any way.

Lillian turned back to the chalkboard but not before catching that glare and eyeroll. However, she remained as outwardly calm as ever, simply taking down the new information. She went through her mental checklist for the next points to address. Oh, right, equipment.

"Has anyone had a chance to investigate the antique shop Principal Ivors referred us to?"

"A-a-ah, that's right, Lynne and I went there..!" Heather quickly piped up, raising her hand as if they were in a classroom rather than in a meeting with friends. She quickly realised after the fact that it looked rather dumb though, so she quickly took her hand down again, looking around a bit more shyly again.

... Besides, she was too shy to talk about their trip there in front of a whole group of people either way, so instead she just nervously glanced over to Lynne as if asking for help.

Lynne took the hint and started talking. "Yeah, we did. It's mostly filled with junk but I'm guessing the reason Mr. Ivors-" if anyone was listening very carefully they would have realized the tiniest bit of dislike behind the name, "-gave us the address was because they carry tons of weapons. The real deal, I mean. Blades, guns, blunt instruments, everything. The clerk didn't have any reservations about selling them to us either. We didn't get any but we picked up some healing items from him he said could help with cuts and bruises or temporary loss of blindness or speech...stuff like that. I can't remember them all but it's in a manual."
