WHO: 2012 Persona Users
WHERE: The Abaton Museum of National History.
WHEN: August 17th, 1934, around noon?
WHY: Reopened museum? That new paint is suspicious white! Monthly event time!

Despite all of the hard work she and the others did in search for historical proofs and answers, all trails seem to lead to dead ends. )

Lillian had deliberated over the principal's note for quite some time after finding it in her locker that morning. Her first impulse had been to wad it up, throw it in the trash, and go about her day as usual but after she'd thought it over for a while, she had to admit that it probably would be a good idea to go, after all. She and Ezra hadn't gotten very far in their quest for information with the other museums so maybe if they went to this one, they'd have better luck ( ... )

There really wasn't any reason for Anthony to go to the museum with the others, nor did he want to when he first went over the invitation. Frankly, museums weren't his thing, quiet and boring places as they were, and unless it was a place to view extravagant fanart, he likely wouldn't find it to be anything interesting. However, Grand Opening caught his eye, written in bold font across the top of the page. If it meant that he wouldn't be wandering aimlessly around a building, footsteps echoing off of the walls and voices seemingly coming from nowhere and everywhere all at once ( ... )

Rather than go to stand with Emi, Lillian had opted to stop a few steps away. She still didn't know Emi very well and from what little Lillian had been able to observe, she seemed like a prickly girl, not unlike a cactus. Fortunately, Lillian had an appreciation for cacti, both literal and metaphorical, but even so, she wasn't overly fond of getting needles stuck in her hands reaching out to them. She had her limits, too, and their run in at Starduck's had taken more out of her than she'd expected ( ... )

The principal's note had been enough to scare Heather into going. He was quite an.. intimidating and scary man, especially in Heather's eyes. Even though she luckily always had managed to stay out of trouble due to fear of breaking the rules. Not that she minded going to the museum. In fact, if she hadn't received the note she might had gone there on her own in the first place. It was the reopening of the museum, after all! Lillian's text had only motivated her more to go there.

Right when she got near the museum was when she started worrying about whether she was late or not and started hurrying. This definitely wasn't the time to make a bad impression and--

Her train of thought along with her walk to the museum stopped when she got near the museum's entrance and noticed the other three there. The thought that she knew all these people and they actually knew who she was surprised her for a moment. Ever since that night of the black out.. Things had somehow changed, hadn't they ( ... )

Anthony had opened his mouth, about to happily ask Heather to accompany him as people began to split into pairs. It would almost be like a date; pointing at nude paintings and embroidered antique quilts, or lewd vases created from the Ancient Romans (the only time period he knew anything about). He would pretend to be interested, and perhaps if he got lucky, they would walk out holding hands. She was probably scared of the "spooky ghost story" that had just been shared too, ha. It was a perfect scenario ( ... )

Amalia cheerfully waved the others off (feeling more than a twinge of sympathy for Lillian than she did for Anthony, since Ezra was good company and her roommate... could be good company when she felt like it). It took a certain (blunt) touch to deal with her on a daily basis, but Lillian had chosen that route herself, so she only rocked back on her heels and grinned widely at Heather. ... Who looked as though smiling was a monumental struggle. Well, that was what she and Rolf were for, right? They'd get her smiling and chattering in no time-- or, at the very least, less terrified-looking.

"No point searching for clues or killer cars without food in our stomachs to keep us going," she pointed out-- though that cake did look amazing, so perhaps logic wasn't the only driving force here. "We can grab plates and head on up ourselves-- two pájaros with one stone!"

True to his word, Ezra didn't miss Anthony's longing glance back towards the shy brown haired girl. For a moment he felt a bit awkward at having seperated the two friends, but maybe this was his chance to get to know the freshman better. They hadn't really started off on the right foot... twice, now, but third time's the charm, right ( ... )

Lester wandered into the museum wearing a vest over a button up shirt. He actually had pants that weren't jeans or a part of his uniform. That was a surprise. He didn't think he owned non-jeans pants that weren't shorts. He had completely and absolutely forgotten about the museum trip until he got his companions' text messages. ...Oops. Oh well. What was done was done. It didn't help that he got lost on the way to the museum. And the kind old lady who gave him directions ended up landing him on the other side of town. Oh well. That was too bad.

So now here he was wondering where everyone went, or if anyone was still around at all. He certainly didn't hear any voices, considering that his piPod was blasting music into his ears. He squinted a little at a group of three and...heyyyy they looked familiar! He started shuffling in their direction and tried waving. "Hello~?"

Anthony moseyed around aimlessly as Ezra talked on the phone, bored by the lack of event in the open room. The only interesting thing was that mirror, and he was tempted to just press his palms and face into the thing childishly to see if he could fall inside. It was so clean and sparkly, and by the sounds of it, home of something that wasn't totally normal. By that reasoning, he should have been able to climb to the other side as well and enjoy the sights that his alternate universe offered -- maybe he'd find his Theo friend in there ( ... )

"Yes, vigilant. Keep your eyes glued to that mirror, please." When Anthony eventually tired of his meticulous inspection, Ezra had to bite back his own sigh.

"We still have repair work with the girl's bathroom and you want to destroy more property?" He glanced down the halls for any wandering visitors before regarding the blond once more, his real cause of worry. "Besides, there are a lot of people who would hear us this time. Not to mention, the cameras actually work here." Even if they could harm the thing in the mirror by destroying it, they didn't yet know what its limitations were. The visitors could potentially get hurt during all of this as well. Their situation called for some careful thought...

He caught himself fiddling with his cellphone in his pocket and stopped. Thankfully, his blank expression didn't give his own restlessness away.

Lillian continued down the first floor hallway, examining whatever mirrors she could. She had lost track of Emi in the cluster of museum visitors, so intent was she on her search for whatever demonic anomaly was occurring here. She had just about given up when she glanced toward one of the mirrors and thought she saw a familiar black flicker in the glass from out of the corner of her eye. Just as before, the moment she turned to look at it directly, it faded completely from view.

I wonder if there is a way to drive this thing into a specific mirror, she thought. It was awfully intent on not being seen. Pinning it down its location seemed like the first logical step in dealing with figuring out how to approach and deal with this creature.

Lillian stopped in her tracks, still staring at the mirror. Maybe if she kept watching it, it would force it move elsewhere and eliminate one place it could be. She pulled out her cell phone, opened up the recent calls menu, scrolled down to Ezra's call, and dialed the number.

Wearing perhaps a slightly less blank expression, Ezra swiftly opened his phone, cutting off the Metal Cog Solid codec dial echoing softly across the room. He raised an eyebrow at Anthony, as if to say 'hold on just a bit longer'.

"Lillian, anything new?"

((ooc: i s'pose most of us are busy still, but when we're all here maybe we can plot about what to do next? if we're stuck, that is~))

Cutting to the action~ azuranthine January 20 2011, 07:55:54 UTC
By the time they had finished getting all the visitors out of the building and broken every single mirror in the building, Lillian was almost drained, annoyed with herself for not thinking to doublecheck to make sure everyone had everyone else's phone numbers, and frustrated almost to the point of tears with the situation they were in. No matter how long her fuse was normally, after over forty-five minutes of trying to subtly coax their ragtag group into coordinating their efforts and non-stop phone tag to the point her phone battery had died, it was significantly shorter now. Not that it showed much on the surface, even if her smiles gradually felt more and more forced as time went on ( ... )

Lester nodded in response and glanced back at the mirror. Before he looked back at Lilly, he thought he saw something move out of the corner of his eye. Maybe it was one of the others who had gathered on the third floor. It sounded like the mirror ghost critter was supposed to be here, anyway.

"We'll be caref..." He turned back around to stare at the mirror. "Ummmm. Something's moving, I think."

Djinn, still in its summoned state, left Lester's shoulder to hover above his head, surging with static energy. Hey! Listen! You! It's THERE!

A point of glistening, liquid blackness appeared in the direct center of the mirror's mostly empty frame. A few jagged glass shards remained contrasting sharply with the strange darkness until they were devoured by something. The blackness jiggled as it slowy oozed forward out of the mirror, falling to the floor with a sickening plop. It smelled strongly like raw sewage, curdled milk, and oil combined into one horrible stench that rapidly spread out through the air in its immediate vicinity.

"Yeah, let's do this." As far as Ezra was concerned, this all should've been over with yesterday. The hand that had been rubbing away the beginnings of a headache immediately moved to cover his nose and mouth when the black mass revealed itself, and he recoiled a bit when the stench fully hit. "Ugh!"

Xochipilli, who'd been at full attention since they'd reached the third floor, was now puffing up aggressively, like a small bird trying to appear more menacing. His flowery lights appeared and began swirling madly, which Ezra knew meant it was reading the enemy, but this time he seemed to come up empty. With a chirp, Xochi looked to Ezra, who in turn frowned nervously.

"It's like... when I look for you guys, each of you is like a color on the map?" Unable to find the right words to describe it, he pushed on in his haste. "This one doesn't have any. Don't know what that means, but let's not give it any time to attack. Let it have it!" Behind him, Xochi began whirling again, ready to watch and analyze.
