[OOC: For reference, this post takes place shortly after this hurt/comfort meme thread. Anyone, villain or hero, is welcome to stop by and have Bee angst at them chat, but I'd love other Titans Easters or maybe Raven to stop by. <3]

and they say bees aren't supposed to fly )

Here's a Raven... Dunno if that's the one you were waiting for though? feel_nevermore September 9 2011, 15:43:12 UTC
Raven was approaching the Titans East's Tower when she spotted someone standing on top of it. Flying closer she recognized BumbleBee who was, well, exactly the person she was supposed to meet there. So this was pretty convenient. She landed softly on the rooftop, a few feet away from the other girl and gave her a short nod in greeting.

"Hey. Cy said you needed to see me."

She knew this was about healing her too, but she wasn't about to ask any question. Better let Bee decide what she wanted to tell her about what had happened to her.

Totally welcome! I actually don't know of any other that hangs out here so. :P notabeeotch September 9 2011, 16:16:03 UTC
She got to her feet slowly, the movement taking far more out of her than it usually did, but she moved a little closer, offering Raven a tired smile ( ... )

Great then ;) feel_nevermore September 10 2011, 23:28:16 UTC
"You know boys... They keep talking."

Raven came a bit closer as she sensed her pain but also her worries and frustration.

"Well you know... Just the usual Titans' daily routine. We're all fine."

She held her hand out toward Bee, not touching her just yet.

"I could start with alleviating your pain, if you wish. Then maybe you could tell me what happened to you. ...The boys were pretty vague about it."

"Yeah, that they do."

Partially for Raven's sake, Bumblebee was trying to put a bit of a cap on her emotions, but it wasn't working too well. There was to much of a mix-- pain, worry and frustration, yes, but also relief and hope.

"Good, that's good to know."

She blinked down at the hand a moment before meeting Raven's eyes slowly. Her voice was low and a hair broken when she finally found the words, "First... just... tell it to me straight, Rae-girl," the nickname slips out almost of its own accord as she turns slightly to offer the other Titan a better view at her wings, "D'you think... d'you think you can fix them?"

After Raven leaves? notrobingdmt September 10 2011, 02:21:55 UTC
After making sure Bumblebee was at least on the way to becoming all right, and after she'd fallen asleep, Roy had worked out his aggression in the training room for hours. He wore himself nearly to the point of exhaustion, took a quick shower, and it was enough that he could pretend he was back to his wise-cracking self.

Still unable to sleep, he'd given into an urge and baked a cake to celebrate Karen's return. (It always seemed to surprise people that he knew his way around a kitchen but really, most things had simple instructions on the box.) Since she was the inspiration for the cake, it only made sense for her to have the first slice, but she wasn't in the medical bay or her room. That only left one place.

It took a lot of balance and maneuvering but Roy managed to get up onto the roof with two plates, each with a hearty slice of cake and a fork. He walked up to her slowly, footsteps heavy so he wouldn't startle her.

"Hey. Thought I'd give you a Welcome Home present." He said, plopping down next to her and handing her a plate.

Maybe before? I'm not sure how that one'll play out & I don't wanna assume. :P notabeeotch September 10 2011, 02:44:17 UTC
It was instinct by now, but the sound of his footsteps made her stiffen a little until she remembered where she was and who it was likely to be. So somehow she dredged up a weary smile as she accepted the plate.

"Thanks. Keep forgetting you actually know how to bake."

It took her a moment to actually pick up the fork and begin picking at the cake, but eventually she managed it.

That works too! notrobingdmt September 10 2011, 03:08:24 UTC
He scoffs, a little insecure about having that particular skill even if it does lead to delicious results. Baking's not very manly. "Not like it's hard, you just do what it says on the box. Put crap in a bowl, mix it together, pour it into the pan, stick it in the oven and boom. Cake."

The sun rising makes him homesick for a moment but he swallows the feeling down with a bite of cake. "This city's not so bad when it's too early for anyone to smog it up."

"Oh, please tell me you didn't actually put crap in a bowl," she responds blandly, although the cake tastes far too good for that.

"No, it's not. S'pose everything looks better in the morning, though."

A pause, and then, quietly, "...It's good to be home."
