The issue never came up for us b/c we have two girls and don't plan on any more kids. Even though we're Jewish, I'm fairly sure we would not have circumcised b/c my husband is very against it. I probably would have done it if it were up to me, b/c all the males in my family are, so it just seems normal to me. But then again, all the guys I know who are uncut, even the ones who have had issues with it, seem to be happy their parents made that decision. So I really don't know.

Anyway, it sounds like you handled it well.
