Do not let this post influence you into trying this

It's not my fault. I knew I was in trouble when whitehousemom wrote about her experience with McDonalds coffee. I was previously avoiding the whole situation because I just didn't want it to be true ( Read more... )

LOLOLOL. Re: the price...hmm, weird! Was yours iced or hot? Also, I am a narcissist because I really liked seeing my name that many times in one post.

I could've told you McDonald's was evil.

Just be careful not to drive with their coffee, it's extremely hot :P

lol!

thankfully (or possibly crappily, depending on how you want to look at it) this coffee is a trillion zillion times better than *that* coffee.

Mmm I have to try it. Tim Hortons is my main coffee. I totally can't afford the likes of Starbucks (although that is where I usually go when I'm out with friends.) I like McDonald's food from time to time (sue me!) So I wouldn't mind trying their coffee (decaf right now, of coruse). :)

It's a famous Canadian coffee shop. It beats out Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts up here. It's also in some northern US states now. Sorry you're deprived of it. :( It's the best.

I've had a bit of caffeine here and there (gingerale was very important to me when I was so sick earlier.) But when it comes to coffee, I like decaf as much as caffeinated, so I just switched over. I do miss Chai Lattes. I've had one since I've been pregnant and Zach reacted a bit too strongly to it for my liking (he was flipping around like crazy for an hour or so afterward, and I got a strong feeling that it made him uncomfortable.)

I was surprised that the McDs coffee wasn't craptastic. I tried it a few weeks ago and while it was no gourmet blend, it wasn't bad for the price.

But I'm giving up my morning coffee. *weeps* So this post makes me sad.

calories? caffeine? or both?

sorry to make you sad. :-(

caffeine. :( I'm not giving it up completely, but rather giving up the habit of every day, first thing in the morning, arms outstretched like a zombie reaching for the coffee pot. So I can still have a cup whenever, but just not habitually.

It's not really anything to do with my pregnancy, but more how I hate not functioning without it.
