The power is gone and the roads were blocked yesterday (the main ones still are, but at least there is one way out) we have no heat or food or way to eat the little bit of food that we do have and we had a fire yesterday but thankfully were able to put it out ourselves and did not need to call 911, though it was really a close call. I had no idea you got hit so hard!! I would offer to let you stay here if it would make any difference to your commute. We don't have tons of space - but we could work it all out ♥

Oh no!!! I'm so glad you're OK! Erik and I have been wondering if y'all were alright, he mentioned that the Aberdeen newspaper didn't have power either! Let me know if we can help in any way!

yeah, kinda ironic that we busted our butts to get back to aberdeen, IN THE STORM on Sunday night. i was like, oh man, if only we'd known, we could have at least gotten stuck on THIS side. :-)

OMG! :( I don't know if my house would be closer to your work, but you guys are more than welcome to stay with us too. We have a comfy double bed in the spare room and lots of food. We haven't gotten hit with flooding so far. Just let me know. *hugs* Or if there's anything else I can do to help, let me know.

yes. yes it would be a LOT closer. stephen even mused that maybe i should call you and ask, but i said that it was not something to be asked of someone you're just getting to know. we have a dog and two cats though ... so they'd have to stay with my mom or something i guess. we will talk about it and i'll give you a call tomorrow. thank you very very very very much.

It would be no trouble at all. We have lots of room! The pets would be the issue but if you can find room for them at your mom's it would totally work. My lease doesn't let me have any other pets in the house and Loki might eat your kitties. haha. Just let me know!

Oh and Miah said that when he heard about the flooding in your area he immediately thought about you guys and wondered if you were ok. I am dense and didn't realize it had hit you guys though and he didn't tell me. :P

yeah, it was pretty scary. the flames were halfway up to the ceiling. we are really really lucky we still have a home at all.

yeah, we're here, and we took em all with us. the cats rode in a plastic storage container (with a few air vents poked in it) because we couldn't find their stupid carriers.
