Do you have freecycle in your area? I didn't look it up, just linked to the page so you can look for yourself. It's like an email list where you list the stuff you have and tell people what they have to do to get it. I'm not actually on our local email list, because I have a hard enough time keeping up with the email I get, but I have a friend who is. People offer all kinds of stuff on there. It's worth a try.

thanks. i might look into it. i don't actually have it in MY area, but my mom lives in town, so i'm sure she could list it. the reason i did it this way though, is i think she'd feel more comforatable with someone who knows me coming to get it than any random person off the street, for safety reasons and such ...
