Note to self: Celtic art : from its beginnings to the Book of Kells is not only held at the other university as well as mine; it's a revised and expanded edition. Yesterday I went to the Getty Center to look at two exhibitions: Ancient Art and Seeking Illumination. I really forgot how tiring it can be to stand around for hours, writing or just looking.
