Well, match asocial with asocial. Roxas was not one for the taverns, where it seemed most of the crew had wandered off to. Nor was he one for hanging around the ship to deal with the noise of everyone moving in. Instead he'd gone to take a walk in the evening air. This was much more enjoyable than dealing with people. Of course, as soon as the thought for loving solitude came into play he spotted a cloaked figure. How cliche was that? The blonde raised an eyebrow, before dropping it and moving a bit closer at a lazy meandering pace.

Roxas followed the figure's gaze, trying to see what had captired his attention. There were the ships that were docked, and the sunset. Or what was left of the sunset, anyway. Roxas always found this period to be prettier than the actual sunset. This was the last rays of orange that were swallowed by the impending night sky. He slowed as he got closer to the young man, more by coincidence than anything. Hands slipped into his pocket, eyes on the horizon.

Had there been much of a wind to stir up the cloak, the entire scene probably would've appeared like something out of an old over-dramatic movie. But at that particular moment there wasn't much more than a slight breeze to be found, so that little scenario was avoided. Instead the boy was oddly motionless, seeming to be rather out of it.

It wasn't surprising that it took him so long to even notice the blond was present, not even glancing over in his direction for quite some time. When he finally did the analytical stare only lasted for a few seconds, before Kamui returned to gazing off at nothing in particular. The boy had not registered as any kind of threat, and it wasn't like he was about to strike up a conversation. So he had quickly decided to take his usual approach with people; to ignore them.

She'd gotten bored with the tavern talk and the occasional lascvicious glance she'd been getting; so she'd left, hat carefully levelled over her eyes, stepping out into the darkness with her hands shoved in her pockets. There was nothing in this town that was particularly going to trouble her, so Rogue was just taking a casual wander around ( ... )

Roxas had been acknowledged, and it seemed like that was as far as it was going to go. Which was fine with him, he wasn't here to talk. If he wanted to run his mouth he would have gone back to the tavern. Some people would call this boring, but little ever bored Roxas. He had a lot of patience for absolutely nothing.

Of course, then someone had to happen along. A woman, with an interesting hair style. There was a white streak in her brown hair, but he supposed he'd seen odder. Strangely, he didn't feel so intruded on as he might have, or perhaps, as he should have. To respond to her words, however, he just shrugged. Who knew when the world was ending, afterall. It wasn't like there was a clock somewhere, slowly counting down.

Kaumi had been rather relieved that the blond boy hadn't tried to start up some conversation, finding silence much more comfortable than trying to talk awkwardly about something else. He was rather content to just keep staring off at the distant horizon, until he had to leave or something came up.

The new arrival was rather unexpected. Her appearance was not that odd to him, he had seen much stranger things after all. Women with uncommon hair colors weren't that unheard of, especially in a world were creatures from old myths had started to appear. And he didn't really mind her as long as she was just talking to the other stranger, who appeared to be just as unsocial as he was.
