He decides to walk, with nothing better to do and work not for hours. He meanders over to the senate changer, watching the woman curiously trying to catch fish. And then he gets too close, recognizes the name and wishes he'd stayed in bed that morning.
Quickly, he attempts to move away, unnoticed. ]

Going so soon, love? When there's a lady so obviously in need of assistance?
[ And now a peek over her shoulder. She sees you, Xander Harris. Too late to go tip-toeing away. Come play, dear heart. ]

A lady plenty capable. Women's lib and bra burning and Rosie's riveting...

[ She makes a disapproving noise, shaking her head and speaking slowly, languidly, while she turns, giving Xander her full attention. Meaning, if/when he tries to run, he'll have to attempt it with all eyes on him. ]
Capable is hardly an excuse for bad manners. Did your Slayer teach you that? Such a bad nanny she is.

Its the nursery rhyme that catches his attention as he walks through the civic cluster, that voices and the way it pitches, rises and falls, is ... distinctive.
Pausing, he turns, automatically strengthening his shields, even as he begins to work his way across the lush grass towards the pond. Hands in his pockets he approaches with a thoughtful quiet, until his eyes confirm what his ears had already told him.
Her.
Standing back, quietly for a moment, he considers his options before walking closer. He can almost feel his mental Erik wryly telling him how many ways this is not a good idea but its open daylight and he's more prepared this time.
He hopes!]
I think, [he begins in a quiet voice so as not to startle her.] they'd rather stay in the water, love.

My Prince.
[ A glance over her shoulder, playful smile in place. You, dear, are welcome company. She gives a little pat to the side of the pool next to her. Sit, Charles, sit. She'd like to actually meet you now, instead of pulling near your entire person from the inside of your head. ] Why should they when I've playmates for them to find elsewhere?

This doesn't keep him from smiling gently and walking forward when she pats the side of the pool, taking her up on her invitation and gracefully folding his small frame down beside her.]
You have a fish pond?
[Without his ability to read even surface thoughts, he can only make assumptions, which is not something he's used to, so it comes out awkwardly. He then recalls some of those nightmarish images she left in his head when they first met and he crinkles his nose a bit.]
Lets pretend I didn't ask about their fate.

Drusilla's face is a familiar one, albeit only a brief visual that he's seen from the datapad so few nights ago. He'd confront her, but Charles seems intent on carrying a perfectly normal conversation and Erik's never been one to reign him in for following his own wishes.
So don't mind Erik, just standing a few feet behind Charles, hands in his pockets. It's certainly not a good idea, but Charles probably knows this already, so he'll just watch for now. ]

What are you doing?

Little Princess. So lovely to see you.
[ She pulls her hand out of the water, drying it on the skirt of her dress in a way a child would unwittingly dirty their Sunday bests. ]
I'm preparing a gift for a friend.

As gift you say? [She looked at the pond] You are catching them a fish?

She doesn't know why she's guided to the Senate building, but she doesn't question it.
When she sees Drusilla, it makes much more sense. There's a connection between them now; they've seen each other's fall to madness.
Isolde clasps her hands behind her back as she steps up next to the woman, small body leaning over her with a curious expression.] You might continue having trouble if you try to catch the fish like that.

The Exile. Hello, love, how's your head? [ And then a glance back down at the fish dashing away from her arm. She tilts her head for a moment ] How else should I do it? It works for bears and the like.

Animals are more equipped for it. It's what they're hardwired to do. [She kneels next to her, watching the fish and the water for a second before reaching out with the Force and blocking the fish from getting away.] Then again, I suppose we're nothing but adaptive, right?

[ She watches, intent, as Isolde kneels, reaching out around the fish with the Force. She knew this. Darla had taught her. Only a few little things that she really hadn't cared to practice to much intense extent, but now seemed as good a time as any. She reached out with her mind, pulling at the fish and the water surrounding it until a little orb of water floated just above the surface, the fish wiggling about inside. She gave Isolde a little smile, proud of herself. ] I suppose we are.
[ However, Dru's focus completely sucks, and a moment later the water-bubble pops and the fish flops back into the pond to dart away. ]

He turns to Chewie as they start passing her.]
Someone should tell her there's easier ways to get dinner these days.
