[Bellatrix never expected the cow to show up alone. She's unhinged, but not stupid. Her mental shields are iron tight-- there won't be any mind games like with that man from the other day. And she made a little detour before arriving at the destination. A body levitates along next to her, another red-headed woman, unconscious. She grips a knife in her hand like a wand and smiles when she spots Lily.]

I think I am beginning to appreciate this 'force'. So many ways to apply it! I have been practicing with combusting organs. There is only need for one kidney, yes? [She hasn't done anything so severe to the girl next to her yet, but who can tell with the way she's passed out.]

[Lily comes to a dead halt when she sees the body, another Outworlder that she recognises. Some of the blood drains from her face as she sends a quick thought to Isolde. She has a hostage.]

If she's dead, Lestrange, I swear to god--

[She rolls her eyes at Lily.]

Please dear. Use your head. What is the point of a dead hostage? [Don't you people know anything?]

(OOC: It's likely that Bellatrix banged Amy up a bit while grabbing her, but I'll leave the injuries up to Mellie!)

[Threadjack at will. Everyone will be using communicators to talk things out. Isolde will be giving the orders.]

[Checking his blasters] Remind me again why we can't just shoot her every week until Revan sends her home?

[Glancing over at him.] Lily doesn't want that, but if you are all for devoting your life to it, Atton...

Rather morbid fellow, isn't he? [/peanut gallery of course.]

[And this is where all of our planning comes into play, guys!

Quick rundown:

-Isolde will be freaking out, so Atton will need to take care of her.
-Jack will go crazy and need to be restrained by Bethany, who will remind everyone not to kill Bellatrix.
-Garrus swoops in to rescue Amy while
-Anders engages Bellatrix in combat, who is then joined by Jack, until Garrus finally swoops in again with a concussive shot.]

Isolde and Atton | closed theforestechoes November 6 2011, 21:54:10 UTC
[There is no brief second of confusion and wondering what has just happened. She doesn't even need to see it to know what's happening, but she does. It fills her mind up, the image, the feeling, and as Lily dies, part of Isolde does too. It's a harsh tug inside of her, and she can't remember the last time she's felt this. Not at first.

Her legs shake, and she tumbles to her knees, falls onto her hands, and she remembers.

Malachor V.

It's not as severe, not as violent, but she's closer to Lily. Completely bonded.

Bao-Dur, Kreia.

Tears stream down her face as she screams in silence, wordless, noiseless. They can't understand it, the tearing of her own soul, the disappearance of the Force inside of her. Nearby, a wall caves in.]

[He feels the echo of the girl dying, the way his mind and soul are entwined with Isolde's making it impossible not to. It's a pale shade of what she's feeling, though, and if he's honest the fate of the girl isn't something he really cares about. She'll be back in a week, whatever.

His first concern, always, is Isolde.

Whatever happens around them, he ignores, dropping to his knees next to the Exile and tugging her to him, wrapping her in his arms and cradling her head to his chest] Hey. I'm here. [He opens himself to her through the Force, willing to give her whatever she needs] I'm here.

[Isolde doesn't want to be touched. It feels like shattered glass, but she can't bring herself to resist or push away from Atton. All she can do is whimper pitifully and pull herself back together, to take in the death, while resting against him.

This is her fault, she realizes. She keeps letting herself bond with others. She didn't stop Lily's plan.

She didn't stop Lily from dying, and even though there's a part of her the beats with the knowledge that Lily will be back, the severed connection is too painful when she has so few of them here.]
