[...that's not Draco.

Because Draco never enters through her window, because he is not Peter Pan.

Curious, Claire gets up to see what in the hell is out there, and -

Oh dear god.

WHAT IS SYLAR DOING HERE?

WHY IS SHE HOME ALONE??

WHERE ARE ALL THE DROIDS THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO KEEP HER SAFE OR SOMETHING? Answer, they're cleaning the apartment for Nathan or picking up his dry cleaning.

Yeah, this thought process is all nicely projected for him to hear.]

What do you think you're doing here? You can't just be here like this!

I had to see you, Claire. [He is s-so ready for this. He has been waiting his entire life for this. Yeah, yeah, he was going to wait and let her come to him for the lulz, but desperate times call for desperate measures. And what was more special than Claire's power? (spoiler: nothing.) Anyway he's climbing in though the window like he's Sam from Clarissa Explains it all and just owns the place. ]

You have something I want. And I've been waiting a long, long time. I've been so patient, and now I think it's high time I got my reward.

[And now he's crazy again. All these past months of private conversations that were almost normal now seem like a really bad idea, especially since there's no one here to help her. And no cheer trophies either.

Like a scared animal her eyes go wide and she promptly retreats back, headed toward her bedroom door.]

So much for changing.

[She glares over at him, and her eyes start scanning across her room for something she can use as a weapon.]

You need to leave. Dad and Peter are on their way back home.

[With a simple hand gesture, he freezes Claire in place so she can't run while he makes his way across the room to her.

Man, he missed that.

When he's directly in front of her, he swivels to be behind her instead and to whisper his creepy ass sweet nothings in her ear.]

I did change, Claire. I changed and I changed and I gave so much of myself, but you know what it got me? A broken heart. That's all. It's so pathetic.

[He places his hands on her shoulders, then slides them down so he's grabbing her forearms instead.]

But it doesn't have to be that way. I have a chance to change it. All I have to do is be a little more special. And who's more special around here than you?

[She pretty much freaks out as soon as she realizes he has her pinned, and there's nothing she can do about it. She tries to struggle and move, and just looks like a big tense mess. Her heart is racing, and her skin is crawling when he moves in close and whispers into her ear.

This is wrong. Wrong, wrong.

He had changed. Broken heart or not, he had changed.]

Don't do this, Sylar.

[Her voice cracks as she pleads, and then she's crying, managing to glare at him through her tears.]

Please. If you do this, you'll be a monster again.

[Welcome to the land of Sylar's psychotic non sequitur tangents.]

We're not so different, you and me. How much do Daddy and Uncle Peter really care, anyway? And Draco. Why aren't they here? You can't count on them in the end. There's only one person you can count on.

[He lets go and shoves her away ... only to telekinetically sweep her toward the wall and pin her there. Now that that's done, he follows her on over and lovingly cups her cheek with his hand.]

You don't know what it's like. You can't. It goes against everything you are. But you're going to help me. She had to die for him. If I can't die, well, that gives me one up on him, doesn't it?

[Oh my god Sylar, she's not a rag doll. Stop moving and slamming her around, it's getting old. The more she gets pissed off and creeped out by him there, the more whatever shitty control over the Force she had learned starts to slip. The wall she's pinned up against begins to shake a little as he cups her cheek, and she wants nothing more than to be able to move her head so she can bite his hand, maybe take a finger off.]

You're going to kill me so you can impress a girl? That's not messed up at all, I'm sure she'll go right to you once I come back and tell everyone what a sick freak you are.

[oh, and I guess now Erik's lessons may pay off a bit because all that anger just surges right out of her and she uses that to try and Force shove him away from her, and distract him long enough for him to drop his telekinetic hold on her. ]

Tsk tsk, I wouldn't do that. Because you know what'll happen if I do?

[He leans in close to whisper. For dramatic effect.] I'll kill everyone you love.

[As he pulls back again to get a better look at her, something in his eyes says he's piecing things together. Gears and stuff are turning in there despite suspicious that there might not be anything in there at all. Experimentally, he places his hand against her sternum. Glowy force stuff comes out of Claire and goes into him. Idk what color it is. It's Claire-colored. As it starts flowing, a smile twitches at the corners of his lips.]

That's new.

What's -

[She's expecting him to slice into her head, not...soul rape her or whatever this Force sucking is. She screams in protest as Her-colored glowy force stuff is ripped out of her, the draining effect felt instantly. There's a lot of tears and all that annoying Claire emotion shit.

This goes on for idk, a long while or something, until her little regenerative body is like an AT&T phone plan and reaches maximum data and nothing else can be transferred or uploaded for the rest of the month.

She's like...passed out or close to it and just like a rag doll now. It's a good thing he's holding her up because otherwise she'd be in a claire-shaped heap on the floor.]

[Sylar is s-so happy right now. He's an addict being reunited with his coke, okay. He's so happy it's easy to ignore all of Claire's whiny little bitch shit. When she goes limp, he lovingly scoops her up to place her on the bed. It's the least he can do. He also talks to her in his quiet loving voice.]

See? That didn't kill you, did it? Even here, you're special. And now I am too.

[Even with how drained and disgusting she's feeling right now, she is seething, and wishes she had more energy to lunge forward and rip out his eyes.]

You will never -

[She has to pause, because talking loud and at all is hard work rn.]

Be special. [He is getting all the glares right now, except that's kind of hard work too. She's just...gonna shut her eyes, but she'll find the energy to bitch at him some more.]

Just a psycho thief.

[That just makes him want to spoon with her. ... So he does. It's the easiest way to ignore all the hurtful things she's saying rn.]

No, you know what would be really great? You and me. [Chuckle. He is like ... high off the Force right now.] Too bad about the whole Draco thing, huh? Maybe I should kill him.

[Oh my god, he is disgusting. She weakly tries to move away, and gets more pissy when she realizes he's like a giant rock preventing her drained little body from rolling away. All she can do is squeeze her eyes shut tight and pretend he isn't there, and imagine fun ways to kill him once she's back to normal.]

Don't touch him. [Shit, she has to let out a breath there.]

I don't want anything to do with you.

I mean, it's the only choice left, isn't it? [He's not even listening to her anymore. She's become his diary personified. As usual. :') ] The more I think about it, maybe I should let Dean have Jo. I came here determined to make her love me somehow, but ... is it really worth it? [He rests his head against Claire's neck. It's a little awkward since she is basically microscopic compared to him.] No one's ever treated me the way she did before. But they called me family. I've never had a family before, either.

[WHAT IN THE HELL IS THIS?????? Oh wait, she can project her thoughts right now.]

I hate you, and they're idiots for thinking you could ever belong anywhere.

[There, that's much better. But she doesn't want to be his diary, and attempts to just flop her head back enough that he can see the glare on her face. This is worse torture than being soul raped and left drained, this is...just wrong.]

Dean is a pig, but even he's better than you. I'm glad you're alone. AND STOP TOUCHING ME.
