What: Garrus and Thane go on a fun adventure tracking down an information broker to find out more about all the shifty business going down at the moment. Ambushes ensue.
Rating: PG-13 for violence

[Garrus hesitates for a moment, just a little bit shocked. Thane was often so quiet, it was easy to forget--even miss entirely-- how perceptive the other man was. Quite suddenly realizing his efforts at a run-around were completely in vain, Garrus barks out a laugh, a sound that actually manages to carry a touch of humor.] Yeah. You're exactly right. Can you really say you'd be any different, though? If any of us were slightly less suicidal, I doubt we would've followed her through that relay in the first place.

And it still wasn't as bad as -- [Garrus cuts himself off, abruptly. The Omega 4 relay and everything beyond had been terrifying,but they had all survived. Everyone had come back whole, even Shepard, and for that Garrus was glad. He wasn't sure she could take another Virmire.]

[But back to business. Garrus grows serious, fingering his rifle to make sure it wasn't going to do something stupid like jam on him before he stepped out of the alley and crossed the open, deserted courtyard.] I read you. Radio silence

[Garrus reaches up to wipe the long dark blue trails falling around his eye and down his neck. The blood was starting to congeal, so at least he didn't have to worry about it trickling into his eyes again.] I think I'll go with 'minimal aid' as well, for now.

[He hefts his sniper rifle, checking the scope, blinking around slightly crusted blood.] One on the left is mine. You can have the right. [A pause, and a slight grin.] Middle one is the tiebreaker.

[Thane's lips quirk slightly before he nods, leveling his gun around the corner. In a flash he shoots the one of the right twice, raising his hand to biotically pull the middle off the ground, making him easy pickings for any interested turian snipers.]

He will happily drive you around if you promise to NEVER CLIMB BEHIND THE WHEEL EVER

[The rifle rebounds against his shoulder as the left one crumples to the ground. He switches targets with a smooth precision, only to find his second victim has suddenly decided to take up floating.

Garrus laughs, re-aligning his shot, and takes that one down as well. One bullet each, minimal collateral damage. But who was keeping track.] All right, I guess we can call that a draw. [He steps around the corner, heading for the car.] Let's get the hell out of here.

the question is will he wear the turian equivalent of a fancy suit while doing so :|a

[Thane's lips quirk slightly as he follows, taking the space keys (or whatever they were) from one of the bodies and tossing them to Garrus.] For now. I feel there will be several similar opportunities in the future. [Considering how nuts things are :|

He gets into the car. Off to the sunset, sir. A job well done.]

[Hell yeah space keys. Garrus clambers his space raptor butt into the driver's seat and takes off :|b At least they are already breaking in their new wheels with bloodstains on the upholstery.
