My flight is booked
Right after I blogged last, my flight got booked despite my card not wanting to go through. My beautiful and wonderful wife assisted me. Lovely Christmas day

The suspense has started
With the help of Bess's husband Dan, and with the very kind help of brother Paul's secretary, I got the visa application fedExed to Los Angeles, to arrive around 10-30 tomorrow morning. A busy day
After a successful trip to get my fingerprints and photo done in Jackson, Mississippi Thursday, I'll be going out today to hopefully get the rest of the process started for the visa application. Please, continue to remember us in your prayers and thoughts.

The Jackson trip is out of the way
As the subject line says, I passed that hurtle on Thursday, so all I must do is get my documents in order, get them photocopied twice, get everything signed that needs signing, in short, make sure all my i's are dotted and my t's crossed, so the visa application, hopefully, will go through without any hitches.
