I just realized, more than before, what I miss most about my time in Austin. It's not so much the carefree life I lived when rent was paid for me (thanks, mom!) and my future depended on the first decision I made, not the decisions I'd made years ago. It's not being able to go out and see new people each and every week. It's not even Kerbey

I miss you, too! And not just because my hermetic inclinations and inability to feed myself properly are worse than ever. Not carotenoderma bad or scurvy from subsisting on Snickers and Coke bad, but there are days where food just doesn't end up as high on the priority list as it perhaps should.

Austin is nice and all, but it's just not quite the same without you and kurayami_hime and everyone else who skipped town.
