I've seen lots of other members show off their collection of Slayers swag (mainly cells and stuff) so I thought it would be fun to show off mine here, too.

I'm shocked you don't have any cels of Zelgadis! Something seems wrong about that... (Here's a tip though, look for cels that have both Zelgadis and Amelia, as they're always cheaper than just cels of Zelgadis. No love for Amelia.. I've gotten a few cool Zelgadis/Amelia cels this way

I want a Zelgadis cell to complete my collection. But, sadly, I've had bad luck trying to get one (all the Zell cells I've found at cons have either been crappy or ridiculously expensive).

It would have to be fun to encounter them at conventions though, especially when they're attending just like everyone else thus not surrounded by mobs of fangirls, eh? ^_-

Word. All 3 of my Crispin Freeman signatures were obtained at smaller events. Waiting in massive autograph lines with screeching fangirls is more than I can take. >_<
The sketch and Premium DVD were signed at SDCC 5 or 6 years ago (right before that con turned into a horrible, overpriced behemoth). And I believe you already know how awesomely awesome the Gathering was. ~_^

I got all of my cels through eBay, you ought to check there since sometimes you get lucky and find a nice cel for cheap. (I finally hunted down Lina a few months ago this way.)

E-Bay (and shopping on the internet in general) makes me nervous because I prefer to look at cells in person to confirm they're real and/or of good quality. Cons are really the only place I can do that. And, lucky for me, SoCal has no shortage of conventions.

But if you know the names of reputable E-bay sellers, feel free to PM them to me.

I'm gonna guess that the cell of Lina pissed off is from NEXT, as she's not wearing the Talismen she got from Xellos(which would the narrow it down to the first 10(or so?, I can't remember which number episode she got them, but I remember it was just before the halfway mark of 13) episodes of NEXT. I can't think any time after that where she took them off or were missing.

Anyway, great stuff, I have that artbook too!

I've looked online and at conventions for other pins like my Lina and Gourry. But I haven't had any luck. :(

I used to have a Zelgadis pin the same size and style as the Lina and Gourry pins; but I gave it to a friend as a birthday present. And sometimes I regret giving it to her because it was REALLY cool and I'll probably never see another one like it again (does that make me a bad friend? ^_^;).

ahahaha, well there are times when I do feel like that (regretting giving something as a gift) but I don't think it immediately makes you a bad friend. You still gave it to her and didn't ask for it back.
