The alarm went off unexpectedly in the middle of the night, waking crew and passengers alike. Those who checked their journals would hear a cry for help: monsters had somehow gotten onto the ship! No one knew where they came from or how they even got onto the Amestris in the first place, but now wasn't the time to think about that. The ship was in chaos.
