Urist McPainter (fun fact: Urist means "dagger" in Dwarven)

Over on one side of the gallery stood a short and plump little demihuman who looked like he was half beard. He was wearing drab brown clothing, made from plants that grew only underground and he carried a large steel hammer over one shoulder. While everything about him screamed "not artist," this man was one of the featured painters in the gallery

It was not often that Othar felt a true kindred spirit, particularly among demi-humans. Generally he felt only a deep sense of pity for them, as being obvious experiments of Sparks.

But he could not help but like the diminutive artist. "Really? Are you a professional monster hunter when you're not painting?"

Urist let out a hearty laugh. "Me? Professional? Oh, good sir, no," he said while shaking his head. However, his expression brightened immediately afterward. "But I do it for sport!"

It served as great inspiration for his paintings, after all!

A Sport hunter... Othar had to frown a little. Unprofessionals did tend to get hurt more often than not.... But at least this small demi-human seemed like he could handle himself.
