Which was odd, considering that he had little to no respect for proper gallery conduct.
"You there!" he called to people who passed by in a loud, booming voice. "Come look at these beauties!" He would then gesture to the row of paintings beside him, all of them of blocky monsters and humans locked in combat. There was a simple, primitive appeal to them. Some people would stop to look, and others would merely walk past, to which he would shout, "Can't appreciate good art, can ye? Well, maybe you'll appreciate me hammer in yer skull!"
At that point, security came rushing over and promptly snatched the hammer out of his hands. They had let him take the weapon in at the first place since he was one of the artists, but that was clearly a mistake.
"Give that back!" the demihuman hollered. "Those people need to be taught a lesson for not appreciating Urist McPainter originals!"

One fellow seemed to be the center of all of it. Aileru knew this because said fellow was shouting. "Sir, Sir! Some of us are trying to enjoy the exhibition," he approached the man and said to him decisively.
Reply
"Trying to enjoy the exhibition?" he snarled. "Trying to enjoy the exhibition!?" He took a deep breath and puffed out his chest. "Listen here, laddie, I am the exhibition!"

"Now, now. I'm sure god will get them for that. So why don't you tell me about yer paintings?"
Reply
"My paintings are all about the struggle between man and beast," he said, gesturing once again to the row of paintings on the wall. "Locked in combat, where only one will walk away with the glory! 'Tis the greatest expression of life, I say."

The graffiti artist gave one of the more abstract ones a hard look. He was digging the style.
"Hrm, how much would place on one of these things?"
Reply
"Never 'ad them appraised," he said. "But maybe after this I could get one of them art blokes to take a look at 'em."

"How horrid- to have the tool of your trade so unfairly taken from your hands! I, too, was forced to leave my hammers with the security officers. Most distressing! I'm sure you know exactly how a hammer can become useful at such an event!"
Reply
"Oh, absolutely!" the short demihuman said. "A hammer is useful in all occasions, but especially at events like these!" Why, when his hammer was present, Urist had a lot more people commenting on his work, and lots of glowing praise! "Me poor Bessie...those oafs better treat her well!"

"Quite a focus on monsters, I see. Have you fought many?" It was in Othar's professional interests as a Gentleman Adventurer to know how many monsters were in what areas, after all.
