Adachi was also looking forward to meeting the captain. Unlike last time with Lowell, he actually tried to do research on the captain and first mate, but had come up with next to nothing. And while it was often true that no news was good news, when you can't find anything at all... well it was suspicious. So Adachi wanted to see already for himself just who the hell these guys were.

He wasn't sure if this was really a good idea but he definitely agreed that his old cover wouldn't work anymore. He'd already started working out a new one in his head (the Fiertia's little bit of trouble at the end might just have worked in his favor after all) but if this was what they had to do to secure it, then so be it. He just hoped the captain would be cooperative, and not have a skeleton or two in his closet like Lowell did.

When his and Dojima's eyes met he gave the other man a quick nod and waited with him for the captain to answer.

Optimus' policy was that anyone who joined the crew was free to see him in person. This meeting was no problem, and certainly far from unusual. To anyone within his ship he was free enough with information. Though...as he was here to investigate murders, Ryotaro Dojima was likely after other information than the identity of the captain...

Prime opened the door to his quarters, a small, strange room mostly occupied by a "bed" -- if you could call it that. Technically, it was called a recharge berth, and had several cables and tubes coiled on its sides. However, it was twelve feet long or so and flat, and resembled a bed closely enough. Blue optics scanned the newcomers.

"Mr. Dojima and Mr. Adachi," he greeted in a low rumble. "You're right on time."

Pip was admittedly a little late for the meeting - he had been busy with other matters on the ship, and it had taken him much longer than he had expected to settle them. This was one of the times where he really almost wanted to double-think on his decision to be the first mate here; sure, the job was fine at all, but sometimes the work was just a little too exasperating. The crew was getting larger day by day now - and with this new bunch of people they had taken in, things were only due to be more hectic now.

Thus it was only after using a good deal of time settling everything did the brunette rush over to the captain's quarters, trying his best not to look that hurried as he ran into the room a bit after their two guests were seated in, not really noticing them just yet as he looked at the robot of his captain. "Uh, sorry chief, but some of ze mechs and techs were bickerin' over somethin' and I needed to go see." Honestly, even if he was the only one properly aware of Prime and Bumblebee, that certainly didn't mean that he needed ( ... )
