Door ajar or not, Flynn was not one to enter without knocking. But... he could spare a few moments watching the princess read before doing so, he supposed. He hadn't written to let her know he was coming to Erealia (he usually wrote her letters instead of using the journals. She seemed to like them more), so he was curious as to how she would react.

He finally knocked, smiling. "Lady Estellise?"

It wasn't that Estelle wasn't grateful for the visit. In fact, she'd be thrilled to see him -- once she tore her eyes away from the novel, and that was always a feat and a half. There was some irony in her having such a short attention span, and yet, she could easily get drawn into a book like it was the most interesting thing she would ever read.

She exhaled softly, gingerly turning a page.

Flynn snorted, amused and slightly insulted. Well, at least it was a good hobby. Better then some at least. He pondered knocking again, but something told him she wouldn't hear it either. So instead he entered, closing the door behind him and approaching her seat. he wasn't wearing his heavy boots or armor, so he didn't clank and thud as he moved, letting him get close enough to lean forward, close to her head.

"I'm honored you're so excited to see me, M'lady."

Blinking as if woken from a deep trance, Estelle looked up and directly into Flynn's eyes, lighter blue meeting an ocean. All of one second passed before her face lit up with a pleasant smile.

"Oh, Flynn!" She pawed around for her bookmark, finding it very unnecessary to dog-ear pages; that would ruin the book! The slim feather was gently placed between the pages, and the girl closed her novel for another day, setting it on the opposite arm of her chair.

"When did you get here?" This time, all of her attention was focused on him.
