Content: After finding out about his birthday, Souji brings Adachi a treat.

Adachi didn't have any plans for the day even though it was his own birthday and he certainly was not expecting any guests. Sure, Souji had offered to share mochi but he kinda figured that it would happen closer to Souji's own birthday... or that Souji would forget. The latter seemed more likely to him.

So by the time Souji came around Adachi was still pretty much in bed surfing the network with his difference engine on his stomach. Earlier he managed to get one of his shirts on and buttoned up but had decided to forgo pants (mostly because looking for some at the time was a little too much effort), staying in just his underwear. After all, he could just pull a pair on whenever he decided to go out, right?

So that knock on the door startles him and without thinking he goes to answer the door, carefully opening it wide enough that he can see outside clearly, but also still hide his lower body.

"Uh, ye- oh! Souji-kun..." he began but ended up trailing off, eyes settling on the box and jug.

Souji was glad Adachi was up and about. It being his birthday and all, he was worried the detective would be sleeping in. Instead he had answered almost right away.

"Adachi-san! I hope I'm not too early for you." He leaned forward, half craning his head as if to peek inside the older man's room. Curiosity, thy name is Souji. As he did so he held up the box as a shield, pressing it up towards the door like an aggressive salesman.
