And rush Yachiru did.

"C'mon, Pillow-chan! Hurry up!" Pillow-chan was taking way too long. Ken-chan could be waiting for her at the police, or they could know where he was, and didn't Pillow-chan know this?!

Frustrated, Yachriu stopped at a corner to wait for Orihime.

"Hey, hey! If we rush, we might get lost! I want to make sure we get there." Orihime sped up her steps, offering Yachiru her hand when she reached the corner.

"So, if the police know where Ken-chan is, and you find him, do you know what you guys are gonna do?" Her smile grew a little more fixed: she had her ideas about what the little girl's answer would be.

Yachiru took Orihime's hand. They had to cross a street, and not even Kenpachi would let Yachiru cross the street alone. Granted, she was usually on his back, but that was beside the point.

"I wanna see if Ken-chan can join th'ship an' if he can't then we'll travel an' fight an' have fun like before!" she announced. She liked the ship. It was fun, and they fought, and the food was really good!

That street corner marked the boundary between the docks and the actual city. Orihime led Yachiru across the street during a brief gap in the traffic, keeping hold of the little girl's hand once they reached the other side. The sidewalk had grown wide enough and the crowds thin enough for two on this side street.

"So you really like the ship, huh?" She laughed and squeezed Yachiru's hand. "Me too. You think Ken-chan will?"
