Orihime hadn't expected that her first opportunity to see the capital would be an trip to the jail with a seven - no, six and three quarters - year-old girl. Yachiru had seemed excited to be able to go out with her, especially with the promise of food, and it would be fun to get to take her out. This was better weather to go out in, too: it was verging on winter, but she didn't have to wrap up as much as she did two months before in Tulgim.
Yosuke had given her directions to the the main police station (also Bellcius' jail, though she wasn't going to mention that to Yachiru), and it sounded like it was going to be quite a walk from the docks, though mostly through stores and government buildings. She didn't expect Yachiru to hold her hand, but she kept an alert eye on the little pink head rushing around the morning crowd.
