I should like to contest this; Banquo was quite a fine ghost as well doctor_is_out September 23 2009, 01:52:19 UTC
Perhaps Ryuuken could have sat back and let this happen. Even after spending the better part of a year on board the Silvana, he harbored no particular attachment to it.

However, the situation was grave, and it had spurred even Ryuuken into action. His bow was not out, but the five-pointed star that had been passed to him at Souken's death was tied around his wrist, and his weapon could be summoned at a moment's notice. He had dodged most of what the ship had thrown at him, though one jacket sleeve was torn near the upper arm. His eyes were grave and focused.

He approached Alex Rowe, with a brief nod and a muttered, "Captain," to acknowledge the other man's presence. Ryuuken was ready to tackle this unruly ghost.

They could go well together. daddys_bear September 23 2009, 03:58:59 UTC
Likewise for all his constant fooling around, Isshin could not let this go unchecked. There was a violent ghost that was haunting this ship, and if it got any worse the spirit could very well become a Hollow instead. And if that happened... well. Things would seriously go to hell then. It was better that they got rid of the ghost now before anything too big could happen.

He brought his zanpaktou along for this, of course - it was still sealed in order to hide its proper power, but it was enough for him to bash up a ghost when necessary (such as now). He managed to get to the engine room without much incident, looking as he always did when he arrived on scene a bit after Ryuuken, grinning and greeting them happily and generally trying to be his usual cheery self in spite of the situation at hand.

"Captain-san! Ryuuken! Nice to see you two here!"

What are you talking about. D: It's Casper all the way! inyourmidst September 23 2009, 10:00:59 UTC
Gin had already been waiting, with what might have been misconstrued as eagerness but really had a lot more to do with hiding how much this whole situation was wearing on him. It didn't help that anything and everything seemed to be attacking him with a particular vengeance, or perhaps that was just paranoia speaking. Either way, all his thoughts were hidden behind his usual smiling mask, although he made the slightest of inclinations towards the Captain and the doctors, the first out of pretended respect and the latter out of equally false friendliness.

"Gentlemen," he greeted, not quite as forcefully cheery as Isshin, but seemingly unperturbed by the ominous rattle of pipes around them and the more disturbing sounds emitting from the engine room. "Glad to see I won't be walking into my death all alone."

I agree with Gin.. Casper owns all. Hope its ok me posting. Seems as Kanda was in there fighting sobaisnice September 23 2009, 15:42:26 UTC
Kanda had his back against the wall close by to where the others seemed to be gathering, he was a little bloody leaning against his sword a little. He appeared to be catching his breath, he looked pale and a little bloody.

He half listened to the conversation of the three men that had already arrived, sounded like they were going back in to deal with the ghost. He wouldn't mind going back in, they had to get rid of this ghost as soon as possible. Maybe he could help out, for now he caught his breath waiting for them to head in before he'd move again.
