He didn't have to worry about that for too long, as Maya practically launched herself down the gangplank at that very moment. All of this... It was so exciting! There was sure to be great food to eat, and awesome things to see all over the place! So what was she waiting for?

She came to a sudden stop at the bottom, though, and put her hands on her hips, looking around. Where to go first? And look at all the people...! She was too distracted to notice Phoenix standing nearby at first, but as she scanned the crowd, her eyes found him and she gasped.

"It's you!" she said brightly, hurrying over to him.

"Y-yeah, it's me. You're Maya Fey, right?" What's with those weird clothes? Phoenix wondered, but decided to wait until introductions were over with -- and he knew for sure that he was talking to Mia's sister and not some random stranger who had recognized him from the paper or something.

She looked a little like Mia. The eyes and face were similar, at least, though this girl was far younger. It was strange, and a little sad to see, but she seemed so happy. That helped a bit.

"That's right," she chirped, putting her hands together in front of her. She stopped, then, and held her hand out directly in front of her. "And you're Phoenix Wright. Am I right?" Finally! After all this time, she was finally meeting him!

"No, I'm Wright," he corrected her without thinking. "I mean, um....yes." Oops. Having a homonym with two meanings for a name was something he was usually used to, but it didn't mean that he didn't still slip up, especially when he felt kind of nervous. The reporter rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly and held out a hand. "That's me. It's nice to meet you, Maya."
